If you see water leaking under the pump this is the result of a bad shaft seal. This means water is getting into the motor which over time will seize it, and you will need to replace it. A less expensive fix when you see this happening is a simple seal replacement which could save you hundreds of dollars down the road.
There is something satisfying when you over deliver on expectations. Actions speak louder then words. Another happy new client of Valley Vista Pool Care.
If your pool motor is humming loudly or humming and tripping the breaker, you might not need to buy a new motor. Customer was quoted by another company for a full motor replacement and install for over $400. I was able to replace her capacitor and get the pool equipment up and running for under $50.

Pool was ready for their Labor Day Party! 🎉
If you have been struggling with your pool and spending money on bottles of chemicals, we can save you time and money.
As you can see in these pictures dust storms can cause havoc on your pool. I would recommend if possible not vacuuming this into the filter if you have a cartridge filter. You will have to break a part the filter several times to get all this dirt out not to damage the cartridges inside. Hire us or someone who has a external pump to get rid of the dirt directly to waste. Also, you don't want to let it sit to long or the dirt will embed into the surface causing an unappealing look like the last picture.
It's officially in a oven out there. 115 degrees last week had no mercy on this pool. We are ready to help prevent this from happening to you with our weekly service. 602-679-6162
Pro Tip: After storms, make sure to empty your baskets so the water can continue to circulate through the system correctly, and not end up like this.
Happy Valentines Day from Valley Vista Pool Care!! That means spring is just around the corner. As we move into the warm spring months here in Arizona it's time to start thinking about getting your pool ready for some water relaxation. Most of us, don't think about the pool in the winter since the water is so cold but soon enough it will be warm enough to dip your toes in.
Pool's work much harder in the warm and hot months, and a few preventive maintenance measures can go along way to having a stress-free pool this season. First, make sure the filter is clean, backwash those sand filters, and clean the cartridges or DE elements if it has been over 6 months. Secondly, test your stabilizer this helps lock in the chlorine your adding from UV rays, and other elements. Lastly, if your pool hasn't been drained in the last 4 to 5 years now is a great time to get that done while it is still cool out. These few tips, will go along way, in enjoying your pool this season versus the headache of fighting algae, a green pool, and a higher cost of chemicals. Don't forget we can help you with any of these items if time is an issue.
Happy Valentines Day :)
